The site wandership.ca is hosted on a server owned by my friend Paul Schreiber, whose generosity in giving me free shell access to a professional-grade webserver is worthy of my eternal gratitude.
Why wandership? It's not an English word; however, since I'm a bit of a fan of the Old English language, I tried, based on spotty knowledge of Germanic word-formation rules, to come up with a modern English cognate for the German word Wanderschaft, "state of wandering".
While "state of wandering" is a nice way of describing my aimless ramblings, some who know me in real life may understand why the word Wanderschaft might have a certain appeal for me.
